Two absorbent pads that sit inside the sleeve and catch moisture before the outer fabric sees any of it. Doubled cotton does the absorbing and stays flat enough not to show through. Straps over the shoulder hold each pad where you set it.
Stick-on liners lose their grip and migrate toward the elbow before lunch. A strapped pad stays in position and goes into the wash instead of the bin. Useful under work shirts, uniforms and anything you would rather not send for cleaning twice a week.
The shirt comes home the way it went out.
Each pad runs about 4.3 by 5.5 inches, covering the seam area of a normal sleeve. Settle the strap over your shoulder and position the pad before the shirt goes on. Wash them cool by hand and dry them flat so the straps keep their tension.
Slip a pair in before the next long day.
