The frame is electroplated iron, which keeps rust off a lantern that lives outdoors part of the year. A cotton wick feeds the flame and a dial at the side sets how high it burns. At 19 cm tall it fits a dinner table, a step, or a shelf.

It runs on lamp oil, paraffin oil, or kerosene, so there is no charging and nothing to replace but the fuel and the wick. The glass keeps the flame upright in moving air. Three finishes are available: brass, chrome, and matte black.
Nothing about it needs a socket or a battery.

Place the lantern on a stable, heat-resistant surface, clear of curtains, paper, and anything that catches. Do not move, touch, or refill it while it is burning, and let it cool completely before handling. Wipe away spilled fuel before lighting, keep the wick trimmed, and store fuel away from heat and flame.

Fill it, trim the wick, and take it outside.
