A ground stake that puts out ultrasound sweeping between 20 and 65 kHz across a yard, garden or open shed. A monocrystalline panel charges it during the day, so there is no cable to bury and no cell to change. An IP65 seal means rain is not a reason to bring it in.

Bait and traps both need someone to go and check them, and neither suits a garden with children or pets in it. An ultrasonic stake leaves nothing in the soil and nothing to clear away afterwards. Because it runs off the sun, it works in the far corner where there is no outlet.
Set it once at the start of the season.

Site it where the panel gets direct sun for most of the day, clear of hedge and fence shadow. Ultrasound will not pass through a wall or dense planting, so space multiple units roughly 10 meters apart and cover corners separately. Wipe the panel a few times a season, because dust is what shortens the run time.

Put one in where the sun lands.
