Children's tablet – a sturdy 7-inch screen that small hands can carry around

A regular tablet in the hands of a young child usually means watching for drops. This one sits in a thick silicone case with a large handle built in. A kickstand on the back lets it stand on a table for videos and reading.

Why choose this children's tablet?

It runs Android 13 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage, which is enough for apps, books and downloaded videos. Games and interactive stories come preinstalled. Parental controls let you decide what is used and for how long.

Carry handle: part of the case, so a child can take the tablet from room to room.
Kickstand: folds out from the back for hands-free viewing at a comfortable angle.
Silicone case: wraps the edges and gives a thick, grippy surface.
Parental controls: filter apps and set daily screen-time limits.
Two cameras: 2 MP on the front and 5 MP on the back.

It is a tablet set up for children from the start, rather than one you have to adapt.

Set the time limits and app filters once, then hand it over. The microSD slot adds room when the built-in storage fills up, and the 3.5 mm jack takes wired headphones for car rides. Charge it over USB-C at the end of the day.
