A bunny-shaped clock that shows the time and doubles as a night light. The movement runs silently, so nothing ticks beside the bed. The glow switches on separately once the room goes dark.
A nightstand usually carries two things: a clock and a small lamp. This one puts both in a housing of ten by twelve centimeters. That leaves room for a cup of water and a book.
A rabbit on the shelf during the day, a patch of soft light at night.
The clock runs on batteries, so there is no cord to route to an outlet. Set it at eye level from the bed and the time reads without sitting up. The ABS housing with silicone detailing wipes clean with a slightly damp cloth.
Put it down and let the light do the rest.
