Black lacquer lamp – three brightness steps for every part of the evening

A lamp with a single brightness is too strong or too weak half the time. This black spool lamp gives you three steps, from a soft background glow to enough light to read by. A built-in battery means it works wherever you put it.

Reasons to pick this black lamp

Each level has its own job and its own runtime. Combine that with a glossy black body and it fits a modern room as easily as a traditional one.

• Soft mode: a background light that lasts around 24 hours on one charge.
• Middle mode: suited to the living room, at roughly 12 hours.
• Bright mode: the strongest level for reading or a desk, at about 7 hours.
• Black gloss body: ten coats of lacquer over a turned spool shape.
• One control: a single tap button on top, nothing else to look for.

Black lacquer and a dimmed glow make a quiet, slightly dramatic pair.

The black finish works in almost any interior, from a white kitchen counter to a dark wooden bookcase. At 30 cm tall and 16 cm across the top, it fits on a nightstand. When the light starts to fade, connect the USB-C cable at the base.
