A small moulded lamp for a nightstand, shaped like one of four animals

Each lamp is a single moulded figure, 19 cm tall, that glows warm white from the inside. Four characters are available: kitten, rabbit, duckling and bear. It runs off USB, so a phone charger or a laptop port is enough.

Why choose this lamp?

It is meant to stay on while someone falls asleep, so the light is low and even rather than bright. Draw is 0.2 W at 5 V. With the remote version you can dim it from across the room without getting up.

Four characters: kitten, rabbit, duckling or bear, each moulded with its own face and posture.
Soft rather than bright: warm white light spread through the body of the lamp, with no visible bulb.
Remote version: touch on/off, three brightness levels and a 10 or 30 minute timer.
Any USB port: charger, power bank or laptop; there is no proprietary adapter to keep track of.
0.2 W draw: low enough to leave on all night without thinking about it.

The non-remote version does the same job with a touch switch on the lamp.

At 6.8 x 6 x 19 cm it fits on a narrow nightstand next to a book and a glass of water. The moulded ABS body has no sharp edges and wipes clean with a damp cloth. Away from the bedroom it works on a hallway shelf or a bathroom windowsill as a marker light.
